Kids LOVE Routine

For me I love routine, especially during the week and I know kids love and thrive for routine too.

Getting out in the mornings can be hard and things never really go to plan do they?

This is how I manage Tom’s weekday routine to try and keep stress to a minimum.

  1. Tom gets up, uses the toilet and I help him dress in his room. Clothes are set out the night before.

  2. We head straight down to the kitchen for breakfast and a chat about our day ahead and if we had any dreams the night before. This can bring about interesting topics of conversation! For a 3 year old his imagination is wild!

  3. Next the fun part, brushing his teeth and cleaning his face from Weetabix or porridge.

  4. If we have time we squeeze in some TV or a run around outside before we set off for the day.

I now have a toothbrush in the kitchen and bathroom upstairs, together with our Konjac Baby/Kid Face Sponge.

This saves us time. The sponge is wonderful . It’s made from natural plant fibres and fully compostable.

What I love is that it’s soft on the skin and doesn’t pull the skin like a facecloth or wipe. It’s also environmentally friendly too.

I just pop it in a little bowl to let it air dry between uses and clean it weekly by pouring boiling water over it. No more scrubbing Weetabix off his face!
