Luxury Skincare for all the Family

Welcome to our first guest blog of 2020.

The lovely Jill from Home At Rose Cottage kindly wrote a beautiful blog for us after we gifted some products to her on the launch of Artio Skincare. This is what Jill, mum of the very cute Harry (see below) has to say about our Mum and Baby range:

“When the gorgeous Rachel asked if she could send me some of her products to try out, I immediately started to do my homework on the amazing brand she has created.  Rachel is Mummy to a beautiful boy who is the inspiration for the products she has created.  Her motherly instincts to protect her little man from all the nasties in the world, spurred her on to produce a 100% natural skincare range for both Mummy and Baby.

I agreed to receive some of the Artio goodies and boy am I glad I did! The most beautifully wrapped parcel dropped onto my doorstep filled with 3 luxurious products - Mum Hand Balm, Mum Soap and Baby Bottom Balm.

The Mum Hand Balm (or the everywhere balm I like to call it!!) is made with rose absolute and organic lavender.  Its aim is to help smooth and moisturise dry-chapped hands but I have been using it all over, I've even caught The Hubby smothering himself in it!!

The Mum Soap is made with Irish spring water, rose absolute and organic lavender. It’s a smooth and silky soap which lathers beautifully and is perfect for hands or to use all over in the shower. (Another one I've had to hide from The Hubby!!)

The Baby Bottom Balm is made with wild harvested shea butter and is perfect for little ones’ delicate skin.  My little man has been troubled with nappy rash quite frequently but since using this, it has created a barrier and it has been nowhere near as irritated. A total lifesaver of a product for Mummies and babies!

The Artio Skincare ranges are now firm favourites at Rose Cottage and I really think they would be the perfect gift for both Mummy and Baby.  A little luxury product without the silly price tag, and isn't it always lovely to support local.”
